  3. Once those have been blended, add the flour in small portions
  4. Put the crumbly mixture into the pan and flatten. You can use a roller, I just used my hands.
  5. Bake the shortbread crust for 18 minutes.
  6. PREPARE THE FILLING: While the crust is baking, whisk the flour and sugar in a bowl.
  7. Add the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the mixture.
  8. After the crust has cooled, pour the lemon filling mixture over it and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Once it's done, let it cool at room temperature and then put it in the fridge to chill for a few hours.
  10. Cut it into squares/rectangles/triangles any shape and decorate!
  11. You can dust the bars with powdered sugar for simplicity and elegance, but this time I used icing to make Spongebob.
